From the Myrtle Beach Convention Center you have quick access to Ripley’s Aquarium, Broadway at the Beach, and the Myrtle Beach Airport.
The Convention Center area is a great place to stay when you’re visiting Myrtle Beach. You can find plenty of accommodations near the Convention Center, from oceanfront resorts to budget-friendly motels. There are also plenty of boutique hotels, luxury resorts, and other kinds of accommodations near the Convention Center, making it easy to find the perfect place to stay.
Sheraton Broadway Resort Villas

The Sheraton Broadway Resort Villas are a luxury home away from home. Ranging in size from a little under 500 square feet to over 1500 square feet, these villas offer full-size kitchens (some even with island countertops), large dining tables, a living room, and multiple bedrooms. Each villa has a washer and dryer in the room, too!
Amenities include free WiFi, a hot tub, a and a restaurant and bar with poolside dining. The gym is here is above average too and comes with cardio equipment, free weights, and exercise balls and mats.
The best part, though, are the amenities for the family. There are two beautiful outdoor pools and one indoor pool here, with a lazy river going and a splash area for the little kids.
They also have tennis courts, a walking path around a little pond great for a morning or even stroll, a volleyball court, basketball, and much more. You could just about have a great vacation here without even leaving the property.
This my TOP choice for places to stay in the area. Why? Because despite the size of each villa, the outstanding amenities for you and your family, and its close proximity to the convention center a night here costs about the same as many hotels in the area. I was honestly expecting much more when checking prices here.

Carolinian Beach Resort

The Carolinian Beach Resort is another awesome all-inclusive resort with plenty of onsite activities for everyone. Both rooms and suites are available, and the largest suite sleeps up to 10 people. The oceanfront rooms have large, floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping ocean views.
All your basics are covered here, including free WiFi, laundry, a gym, and a business center. The fitness center is more basic here than at the Sheraton Broadway, with just a few cardio machines. The business center is comfortable and great for remote work. There is a counter with several stools as well as more comfortable, plush chairs and a table to work.
True to its name, though, the Carolinian Beach Resort offers a full resort experience. Their outdoor swimming pool is right on the ocean, and they also have a seasonally enclosed lazy river and a hot tub. For the kids, there is a kiddie pool.
Best of all, this resort offers beachfront access! You can skip the hassle of needing to drive and find parking, and instead enjoy some sun and sand just steps from your hotel room.

The Caribbean Resort and Villas

The Caribbean Resort and Villas is another all-inclusive family friendly resort right near the convention center. Everything from a standard room to a 3-bedroom oceanfront suite is available here, so you have plenty of options to choose from to meet the needs of you and your travel group.
Like the other resorts, all the basics are covered here, like free WiFi, a laundry room, and a top-notch gym with cardio and weights. They have an onsite breakfast buffet available for around $16 per person as well.
The best part of this resort though are the near endless amenities – you could absolutely vacation here without leaving the property. First up are the water amenities – over 14 pools, including an outdoor water park with a waterslide, a lazy river, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, indoor and outdoor pools, and a kiddie pool. The poolside bar is the perfect spot to kick back and relax, beach style.
The kids will love the onsite arcade, the adults can get their caffeinated fix at the Starbucks, and everyone can enjoy hanging out in the evening by the outdoor fire pit.
Overall, this is one of the best spots in Myrtle Beach to enjoy an unforgettable vacation with the entire family.

The Breakers Myrtle Beach Resort

Breakers Resort is a very popular Myrtle Beach resort, and for good reason. This resort has 5 total towers, with lots of beachfront access right in front of the hotel. Hotel rooms range in size from a standard room up to a 2-bedroom suite.
Amenities here include a kitchenette in many of the rooms, a nice fitness center, onsite breakfast available, free wifi, and of course oceanfront views.
There are lots of things to do on the resort grounds, too. A large indoor pool and hot tub is just next to the outdoor resort area, with a splash pad, waterslide, outdoor pool, and hot tub. Games like shuffleboard and giant chess can give you some fun things to do with the whole family. And last – but not least! – the lazy river winds through the outdoor grounds, where you can float downstream while taking in the beautiful ocean scenery.

Bermuda Sands

Bermuda Sands is a fairly basic, budget motel but also has some impressive resort-style amenities. It’s not only close to the convention center but also right in front of the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. That puts you right at the Family Kingdom Amusement Park.
The motel has both indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, a splash area for the kids, and a lazy river. They also offer rooms with private hot tubs in the room!
Pet Policy
Bermuda Sands is pet friendly. Pets are welcome here for a $17 fee per night, per accommodation. Service animals are exempt from pet fees.
Sheraton Myrtle Beach

The Sheraton Myrtle Beach is about as close as you can get to the Convention Center. Like other Sheraton locations, this hotel has a number of great amenities, including an outdoor pool, a gym, a meeting room, and a restaurant. It offers a luxurious stay for a truly great rest. All rooms come with premium movie channels and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Vidalia’s, their in-house restaurant, serves up plenty of Southern classics as well as some creative twists. Try out the Yellow Corn Grit Cakes with pepper jack cheese and sour cream. People love their herb-crusted salmon too.

Hilton Grand Vacations Club Ocean 22

This is an upscale hotel that offers plenty of water amenities, including an outdoor pool, a lazy river, an indoor pool with waterslides, and plenty of sun lounges for a day of relaxation.
Other amenities include a top-notch fitness facility, free wifi, an onsite bar and restaurant, and made-to-order breakfast for an additional fee.

Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach

The Hampton Inn Myrtle Beach is a nice, affordable hotel that is right on the beach and offers some really nice resort amenities at a good price.
Free breakfast is included with your stay, as well as free wifi, an airport shuttle, and a business center and gym. As an oceanfront hotel, you also get easy access to the beach without having to worry about parking in the public parking lots.
Resort-style amenities at the Hampton Inn include 3 outdoor swimming pools and 4 indoor swimming pools, a lazy river, and plenty of lounge chairs with umbrellas. There’s also a great little splash area for the kids. One really nice family-friendly feature of the Hampton Inn other hotels don’t always have is a playground.

Hampton Inn & Suites is pet friendly. Pets are welcome here for a $75 non-refundable fee per stay.
One thing to note is that if you go to Expedia, they have this information wrong – they state that it is $75 per night, but I checked the Hampton website and it does not say that. According to the Hampton website, it is just a one-time fee.
Holiday Inn Express Broadway at the Beach

If you’re looking for a hotel near the Myrtle Beach Convention Center, you really can’t go wrong with the Holiday Inn Express Myrtle Beach. It’s not oceanfront, but it is pretty close to the convention center and offers a comfortable stay at a good price.
Amenities here include free Wifi, free breakfast, a decent fitness room with weights and cardio, and a basic business center in case you need to catch up on some work while you’re away.
While they don’t have resort-style amenities, there is at least an outdoor pool and hot tub for you to enjoy.
Pet Policy
Pets are allowed at the Holiday Inn Express, but the fee is a little pricey. The pet fee is $50 per night, per pet, and a pet walking area is available.
Pets over 40 pounds are not allowed, and “aggressive breeds” are not allowed, although the hotel website provides no information on what they consider an aggressive breed. Birds, guinea pigs, and cats are not allowed either.
