Cedar Blessings RV Park is an idyllic getaway with a touch of old-world charm. Step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and into the slow pace of island time.

Since May 2022, Cedar Blessings RV Park, formerly Angler’s RV, has been under new management. The park is conveniently close to Cedar Key (just 7 minutes away) and offers easy access to nature trails, fishing, kayaking, restaurants, and other activities.

This pet-friendly park features 78 RV sites and has maintained a rustic charm over the years. The management is excited about the expansion of their plans for Phase 2. This phase will feature 146 new RV sites with paved roads, large concrete pads, and various facilities such as Bocce ball, a community center, a nice pool, and other activities. These additions aim to provide resort-style amenities to the visitors.

Cedar Blessing RV Park offers a variety of fun activities. Every first Sunday, there is a great breakfast, and every third Sunday, there is a potluck supper with a variety of tasty dishes. Guests can enjoy cards, bingo, cornhole, horseshoes, and other games. Whatever you’re looking for, Cedar Blessing RV Park will provide a memorable experience!

The Low Key Hideaway is an adult-only motel and RV campground in the quaint historic town of Cedar Key, Florida. This adult-only RV campground (guests must be 21 or older) has 10 waterfront RV sites with full hook-ups available. In addition, there are indoor showers and bathrooms available for RV campers. The Low Key Hideaway also offers a variety of rooms, some of which come with a kitchenette.

It has a reputation for being a quiet place where you can get away. The owners are great, and one visitor who was new to RVing even noted how they took the time to show her how to set everything up. 

It is really a peaceful, quiet location where you can have a relaxing stay. The campground welcomes pets, with a maximum of 2 pets allowed. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and they must never be left alone.  

Their rates are also very affordable. Current rates are $30 per night for a 30 Amp and $35 per night for a 50 Amp. Electric, water, sewage, and garbage are included in this fee. They also offer a 10% discount on the base rate for military retirees, veterans, service members, and emergency personnel. If you’re looking for an extended family stay, the campground offers weekly and monthly rates.

Shell Mound Campground offers year-round camping right in Cedar Key. This campground, managed by Levy County, is only 9 miles from downtown Cedar Key. The low cost makes it a budget-friendly choice for nature lovers looking for a camping getaway.

The campground is well-kept, with trimmed grass and minimal underbrush, and is bordered by big pine and palm trees. Because of its small size, it might get crowded on holidays and weekends.

The park offers electric and water sites, electric-only sites, and primitive sites. There are also picnic tables and grills. While the bathrooms are older, they are generally well-kept, and the campsite staff does an admirable job of keeping them clean.

Shell Mound Campground is well-known for its fishing and has a small public boat ramp with two boat launch lanes. Next to the boat ramp is a small wooden deck with a fish-cleaning station extending slightly over the lake.

There are a number of recreational opportunities here, including bird viewing, wildlife observation, kayaking, boating, fishing, archaeological and historical sites, and hiking and biking trails. It also contains a small shaded playground for kids with a slide and swing set. 

Discounts are available for Levy County residents aged 65 and up, and those who are entirely disabled are eligible for a 50% discount on park admission costs.
